I love learning about the WHEN, WHERE, and WHY of cooking almost as much as the HOW. Ive been reading this book Catching Fire, its kind of an anthropological history of cooking, it talks about one of the oldest sites they have found that shows signs of people cooking, the site is 800,000 years old! We are part of a 800,000 year old tradition. So cool!
Looks like a book fro my spouse!!! Yay, me!! Whenever I find something (anything actually) that I think this incredibly hard-to-shop-for woman will like, I get all excited. She doesn’t’ want ‘things’ as much as she wants experiences and she can’t read for long periods of times because of a neurological disorder. The rest of the family takes days to read a novel. She takes weeks. I know that this book will occupy her 20 minutes limit before bed each night. <happy sigh>
